As already mentioned, it depends on the format. Are you looking to have it on a streaming site, or available for download? If you want to make it availible for download, you can up it on dropbox, and make that file public. They download it, and play it on something like VLC. VLC will play literally any legitimate format.

Upload the recording to YouTube and post the link.

Depends on the format. You can post from youtube, or you can post from SoundCloud. I've posted several things from there. I'm not sure of any other formats that work.
