p.s. why are people responding referring to their CHRISTIAN names? i don't have a christian name, myself! i have a surname, a first name in english, a first name in hebrew, a middle name in english and a middle name in hebrew. genessa is my hebrew first name.

If you are happy doing it then that’s fine. I think a lot of people prefer to use a a handle that is not their full name. In my case it is just a name I use on here but my Christian name is Marje. I don’t really think anyone really needs to use surnames unless they want to.

There is no "supposed to". I do what works for me - and am fine with others doing the same !

Mostly because being stalked by weirdos in person or online is a huge pain in the ass. It makes it a little more challenging at least if they don't know your real name.
