I worked as a tech in a vet clinic at one point. Patients ranging in size from newborn hamsters to a Neapolitan Mastiff, the hardest pet to handle was a nineteen year old cat who was just feckin done with getting his blood sugar checked already. Took three of us to restrain his crotchety old ass while a fourth did the deed.

What a beautiful Maine Coon. Mine lived to 18 and I never had the courage to try and give him a bath. When he got to old to clean himself I just had to brush him more to prevent matting of the fur.

she was up until just a few weeks ago. she's pushing 21 and having some problems with incontinence now. It breaks my heart to think of lies ahead.
