the last time i was at a taco bell, a couple decades ago, i was waiting for my order at a spot from which i could see a young woman preparing a sandwich, barehanded. she sneezed into one hand and then continued to prepare the sandwich. i was horrified. i mentioned this to the young man who brought me my order and he looked at me as if i were nuts; he didn't understand my objection.

and that's WHY that was the last time i was at a taco bell. it's not that i even liked their food; i was broke and it was more or less affordable. it certainly wasn't mexican food, and it only vaguely resembled food at all.
