kids haven't learned to judge distance yet. i had a cat who never learned it. he'd enter a room in which i was sitting on the other side, and i'd say "hi, wasabi!" he'd immediately fall down and roll over for a tummy rub. i'd say "wasabi, darling, my arms are not a whole room long! you have to come here if you want that tummy rub!"

Dude, right? Like homie I'm near and far sighted. I cannot see shit unless it's an arms length away, and I'm wearing my glasses. Also, waving something close to the face is asking for that thing to be smacked away
