Not a band but Sister Rosetta Tharpe was a huge influence on many musicians and honored/mentioned a few times.

Many people, though, still are not familiar with her influence and that is a shame.

This is a gospel song - and rather ordinary at first - give it to the 1 min and 30 mark.
