Who do we believe, Rosenstein or Trump?
When it comes down to trust, there is no reason not to trust Rosenstein's word. He is known to be trustworthy and forthright.
This is opposed to Trump who has neen documented lying over 4000 times in public about key issues in the 20 months since he taken office. This along with his sycophant monkeys who are willing to back his lies with their own.
Honestly, given the memo Rosenstein wrote to help oust Comey, I don’t find either trustworthy. Trump’s bullshit is more visible in the public eye, but Rosenstein is capable of bullshit.
I do think this is just an attempt by Trump to interfere with investigations, though.
Yeah, I'm not going to believe anything that comes from 45, or his "administration".
I think it's highly likely that the story is a plant, with the intent of smearing Rosenstein. You know, so 45 will have "cause" to fire the guy who is standing between 45 and getting rid of Mueller.
Even if Rosenstein made comments similar to what was "reported", I'm willing to be they were made sarcastically.
I concur. Not only that but it also serves as a distraction from the Kavanaugh nomination debacle.
People have such a fear of being wrong, that they double down on whatever belief that is being challenged. It's a mixture of duning-kruger and cognitive dissonance, and is a unique phenomena that I can not rationalize. I frankly, find it disgusting. How can you change the mind of someone who is "never wrong", who is uneducated on how their own minds work?
