I noticed everybody I've met recently is always looking for something to gain that happiness or success or satisfaction. I don't know if people will ever drop the vanity and possessions for compassion. Compassion is key....if you can't hold yourself on reserve and take on somebody else's Views, ideas in order to understand. Then you are taking human's in the wrong direction! Please remove thy self.

While the 'pursuit of happiness' is what we might call an American, if not universal, right, I am of the opinion that true happiness comes not from consuming, but from contributing. I have for years now appreciated the wisdom of Robert Green Ingersoll, that 'Great Agnostic' of the 19th century, who stated:

"Happiness is the only good. The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here. The way to be happy is to make others so."
