His arguement for innocence was voided by Dr. Ford. He said nothing of substance, I saw his act as being pissed because he was caught.

I thought he started out well but when the tears started, his testimony for me, went to hell and was the opposite of convincing. She showed emotion but emotion held in check and believable.

America's system continues to baffle me. In the UK any supreme court judge has to retire at age 74, and there is a move afoot to reduce that to 68 years old. It's pretty much the same in most of Europe.
Also, Supreme court judges are selected for nomination by other judges, not politicians, and then their choice is put forward for approval by the members of parliament. This way, politics is kept out of justice.

Petter I think The UK has a good idea to have judges nominate not politicians.

No person with political bias is suitable material. It prevents having an impartial, independent system of justice.
