If Kavanaugh is trying to convey that he's not a drinker... he really failed while he downed maybe a couple gallons of water during his hearing today. And when he talked about beer... he sure liked to repeat it over and over. Yeah we get it, you're talking about beer, we get that, you like it, you like saying it. Also, would you calm the fuck down please?

Having watched the hearing today and reading all your comments, it is obvious you all have fallen for the Democratic party's ruse. I have been through the Reid school of interview and interrogation, and his demeanor is exactly what would be expected of an innocent person. It is normal to be angry when accused of something you did not do.
Why should he "calm the fuck down" when the Dem's withheld this information for 36 days? Oh I know, because they orchestrated it all for this purpose.

You either believe one, or the other (Period) One was completely believable and obviously honest; the other, a belligerent prick, both angry & guilty. He thought he’d gotten away with it, and now suspects he’s ruined. As for the Republicans ‘timeline’ - you don’t sit on one president’s justice nomination for over ten months - then appoint another’s at the speed of light.

Let the FBI do their diligence, how ever long it takes.. This is a defining moment - you’re either on the side of justice, or not.

@Varn You may choose who you want to believe, or who the media wants you to believe, or who the Democrats or Republicans want you to believe. I simply pointed out what I observed as a trained professional investigator. Behavior analysis interview and interrogation (Reid) is based on years of research into the human body's reaction to stress and non stress questions. A person can say whatever they choose, but their body will react differently based on the stress of the question. Basically the reason parents tell their kids to look them in the eye when they ask them to answer a hard question. Kavanaugh's body language was appropriate. I could elaborate on Fords deficiencies, but as you stated, you have your mind made up, and when the FBI comes back with no corroboration of her story, no doubt there will be those that claim it was "influenced" by the President.

@16classic You don’t ‘choose’ who’s telling the truth, and anyone incapable of distinguishing between the honesty of one and the performance of the other is hardly worthy of an opinion. Had Kaviar seemed a solid Democratic nomination, and I witnessed the same exchange, there’s no doubt the Dem’s would have yanked him.

As a judge, Kaviar’s no doubt witnessed more than his share of liars. What struck me was how easy it came to him. Terrifying! I witnessed belligerence and evasiveness from him; he either chose his preferred tangent of ‘look at my academic accomplishments,’ or ran down an extremely limited clock..

It sickens me to listen to those so eager to disregard Mrs. Ford’s obviously honest recollection of a terrifying event based on ‘the performance’ of Mr. Kaviar.. His was staged, hers was real. Again, if one can not tell that difference, no amount of studying ‘the subject’ is likely to help. It’s guttural, human; one either gets it, can’t, or refuses to.

@Varn But yet you have 'chosen' who you think is telling the truth, you or anyone for that matter does not actually know except the two individuals involved. As far as his witnessing liars, Kavanaugh (his actual name, not Kaviar) is a Federal Appellate Judge, he hears appeals from lawyers, actual defendants do not come into his courtroom. "His was staged hers was real" is only your opinion based upon your beliefs, ironically for this site, not unlike religion. While my opinion is different from yours, it is based on training, experience, and research.

@16classic I determined who’s telling the truth, as I suspect the nation has. ‘Training’ has nothing to do with it, humanity does. Kaviar deserves no respect from me, none. I’ve little interest in his judicial experience, though assumed he’d actually witnessed live trials prior to his current appointment..

He confirmed he’s a far-wrong political choice by a party whose leader has no more use for honesty than him. At least there will now be a limited investigation … as he & his continue to shame our nation 😟

@Varn "Determined", hahaha that's funny.

He was a repetitive, snot nose, wreck.

...and all that sniffing ..having ‘grown up’ in the age of cocaine, makes ya wonder.. To me, he simply wanted to run out that five-minute-clock on the Democrats, thus his endless repeating. But whatta prick.

He also contracted himself when he said he was 18 in the summer after school, but only 16 in his junior year summer.

The one thing that sets me off the most is if someone questions my character. I get it. But he just doesn't come off as credible in my opinion. He continues to dodge and deflect. The chump in chief told him that he needed to be more forceful... So he is already taking orders from his master.

I don't think they will have the votes no matter how blustery Lindsay Graham gets.

This man should be removed from his current job because he has lied under oath, before any of this other crap came out. A liar should not be a judge let alone on the SCOTUS.

4

He could just be a thirsty diabetic liar who also likes beer. Just sayin.'

He is lying - it is obvious.
