I respect this and hope they do wait. The big reason they do not want to wait is that the mid terms may cast a different light on Kavanaugh if Dems balance out everything. There is haste to get him in there right now. We can re-do Roe and also get Trump power to pardon himself. I find it strange that most people do not see this as what is really going on. One Repuglican told a Dem that they would remember this the next time Dems wanted to nominate somebody. I remember it right now. I remember how Garland didn't even get a mention.
