So, yesterday saw a new doctor. Actually I saw the Nurse practitioner...she had a huge cross on, hugged me and said the devil is trying me....
Need a new doctor...I mean wtf????
My Vet wouldn't do that?
That's because the devil is afraid of cats. Cats do whatever they want. The cats try the devil not the other way around. ?
@maturin1919 ? Indicates the 'what the what' at the end of the sentence.
Not a question. Literary license.
@maturin1919 Nah not when you don't have enough emojis... .
The devil is trying you is a very scientific phrase ?
So, what was her recommendation? Bathe in holy water? Make up for missing mass by eating all the wafers and drinking a few bottles of wine all at once? Actually, now that I think about it, I'd be down for the bottles of wine. Maybe the devil is trying me too ???
unfortunately i have to deal with a lot of doctors. i have never met a doc or nurse who tried to lay religion on me, or who even wore a cross to work, come to think of it, and i've only ever met one nurse who was a republican. i can get good laughs from all docs and all nurses but that one by responding to their request for a list of my allergies by adding "republicans." (i haven't tried :"christians" yet because they might be christians; they're not evangelicals, though; that one cannot help noticing!) you're in florida? you'll understand that i don't mean YOU when i talk about "floridiots" right? you might be surrounded. you have my sympathies.

i fired my chiropractor of 5 years after me mentioned god at one of my appointments. it's one thing if a patient brings it up, but the practitioner to bring it up first is totally inappropriate.
WTF... it’s on my medical record that I’m an atheist. I would have said something completely rude. I’ve been an RN for 25 years, wouldn’t dream of pushing my beliefs on a patient.
