Being an optimist, I found something solidly good in everyone. In case of Trump, I would settle for any silver lining. To prove it, I've knocked myself out, trying. Here is some mentionables.
Some say Trump is a worst megalomanic than Hitler, I said no, only as bad as Mussolini
Trump has put down 90℅ of news media as fake news,, replaced by Mussolini.
Trump's not a drunk, the mentally ill, are not allowed drugs of any kind.
Trump totally destroyed many of the Republican candidates. He is good at that & it was a good thing.
He drained the swamp to replace it with fracking oil, gas, coal ash, and fires, protected by bureau-crocs. At least he is giving grumpy old men a job.
Trumps Obesity, he is not circus fat.
Personally I got ripped off for $12,000 by Trump. The sandcastle was excellent, the Trump sign, then the bankruptcy.... naaah.
Pussy grabbing. Cats across the nation attacked their TV screen when Trump appeared. Calling cats useless and lazy. At least cats and pussies are getting some exercise by attacking and running away.
9.Trump bashes many pro Athletes, People of color, different Religions, Entertainers, Media, International Politicans, Health care, handicap and worst Environmentalist. Who doesn't Trump bash?. At least he won't directly bash his puppet masters.
11.The soul purpose of a government is to protect, not to create. If the free market were run like a Government we would all be bankrupted. Who better to help us go bankrupt than Trump. Let get started with World War three, no other abuse will put these greedy Bastards in prison.
One good thing Trump has done is focus on growth in the economy. Please follow me here.
A country with a large debt and deficit has the following options - ordered in my view my most desired to least desired:
For everyone living in the US we really have to hope the growth part works because all other alternatives are not attractive. I worry about the next recession possibly turning into a depression whereby the debt increase will accelerate. Check out the debtclock.org. The numbers are quite scary.
That too, is a silver lining. He won't be as cunning or taken seriously as Hitler.
Trump did not drain the swamp - he poisoned it. He made favoritism worse, added nepotism ( and wants to f--- his own daughter and admits to it on national TV), claimed to be fighting fake news when lots of it comes from his own false statements, destabilized relationships with the country's best allies, blamed other countries for the failures of his own, gives everybody reason to think he's been unfaithful with his lady stories and attempts to pay them off putting his wife and family in really bad situations - and I could go on and on. Oh No - what has this country come to....
How about Trump was the necessary evil needed to make more people pay attention and get more involved? That's my take on this painful period in American history.
I said that about GW Bush and then Presidents got worst.
Nothing changed about the amount of wars, then he brought back the nuclear arm race. Then punishment Nato members for not paying their high increase fees. Wars ends up solving nothing anyway.
This one reminds me of "it has to go wrong before you do anything about it". I don't like that much because it means one did not care enough to keep it on track in the first place and it's typically much much more expensive to correct than to do it right from the beginning.
In the end you may be right because this is the we humans work.
@Stig
I say that, when training artist on the job.
There is not enough time to do it right the first time. Yet all kinds of time to fix it later.
@Castlepaloma I usually compare that to painting a wall. One cover is typically not enough. Two or three are mostly needed. If you say to someone "I already told you this earlier" it assumes that our brain is able to absorb and retain information the first time. This might be possible, but we should not assume it's always the case.
@Stig
The thinking process is to get them to work it til it looks right. They are the creators and it's still not happening. I'll say don't change it now, yet next time.
Us sculptor can get bent out of shape, and have tortured soul. Yet, all the vertern I know, love their work.
When you can't cry any more..laugh.
Yes, laughing is great medicine. Like being served lemons, you make lemonade.
