What is everyone thoughts on paganism? I've always been interested in it as well as wicca
Paganism is a catch all phrase encompassing various belief systems, the word can be translated as "beliefs of the rural folk" or "beliefs of the woodland people"
According to the Catholic Bible encyclopedia everything from Buddhism to Witchcraft, Hinduism to Druidism can all be called Pagan.
A real pagan would make human or animal sacrifices. Count me out!
Hi Katelyn, I'm Kaitlyn too. Lol
I read a book about Wicca a while back. Nice read but not a believer... I do feel a strong connection with nature though
I guess we are all pagans in a sense... Aka non believers
If you research the history of Wicca, you'll find that this ancient religion dates back to the 1950s when it was completely fabricated by Gerald Gardner. Modern paganism is just more superstition and myth nicely packaged for someone to profit from its sale. It has no discernible connection to pre-Christian beliefs.
