Safety not guaranteed?
Obviously.
I've decided theres really no such thing as prepping for the Level 5 events. (Mass extinction, end times, Z-poc, etc)
I don't have 100 acres and 20 friends and 2 million dollars to start that level, so I focus on the level 2 prepping. (7 days of everything I need to bug in, and a packed bag for bugging out).
I do have board games like catan and such for passing the down time
Sounds like a plan.
We got a small group in eastern TN. They welcome me and mine, in case of a true emergency
@Nichole765
They recognize valuable skills.
I've got some slightly rusty EMT skills, and I've finally found a mentor to teach me to hunt. So I can finally get revenge for my car!
I'll team up with ya...I would suggest you lose the leather though, and the scope. BDUs are more comfortable, moveable, and quiter...as well as cooler. I would also go with a flashlight or laser sight, and load double aught, slug, double aught, slug if your carry is going to be the shotgun. I got a .300 Blackout to split the pro/con list between 5.56 and 7.62 weapons. Also, you got extra filters for your gas mask? All we need now is to find some damn twinkies!!!!!!
You seem to know your stuff. Impressive.
Also, did you see they are making a Zombieland 2? Yay!
Saw a guy at the range had a 300, with built in suppressor system. Thing barely sounded like a 22.
@Nichole765 no i didn't. i have mixed feelings about that. how will they ever match the first movie?
@Nichole765, @Angus Yea...a lot of hog hunters use it in Texas/Louisana. You can load light grain for the speed for deer hunting, or heavy grain to keep it under the sound barrier for hogs close up. If you run some of the really heavy bullets, you don't even need a supressor hardly, but you put a lot of stress on the barrel from my understanding.
@jondspen I am not sure. But I'm hopeful!
Very badass! That future looks like limited beer and weed, not interested .?
Or maybe the suitcase only has beer and weed ?
@Nichole765 ...ok, now you’ve got my attention.?
Not only is it fashionable but it's practical for the coming post-apocalyptic zombie uprising.
I know right?!
I figure being a prepper is useless as first, one must survive what ever occurs. And who wants to live deep in the woods during life? Pretty lonely existence. Then, what about those who will come after you and your supplies. I figure if I get past the initial collapse and death wave, enough supplies, shelter, weapons, etc will be left for the taking. Also, know where you local library is, as the internet will not work.
@Renickulous that is why I added library
