I miss Saturday morning coffee time in bed the most.
My singleness is not very fulfilling today.
Were you Widowed or Divorced? Both create a void in our lives, habits now change,no longer can you ask for advice, grocery shopping is very dull,my late wife and I would many times have the same items in our shopping carts, but life goes on,we are bent, not broken, one step at a time.......
Humans are hard wired for wistful moments I think.
@DoctoralZombie Yes,perfumes, music, places we used to go together at bring back all the memories. Since my wife's passing,I have avoided all the eating places we used to frequent, too many memories.... But life,is made of memories, some good, others bittersweet....
I don't understand why you can't still do that.
Me neither!
Coffee making alarm clock thingy
Beauty thinking.
Personally I really enjoy my "alone time."
99.9% of the time I do as well.
i am in self-imposed loneliness right now because i can't even kiss my guy. he is getting over a nasty cold and he ever so kindly gave it to me, and i have it worse than he ever did! we don't want to pass these germs back and forth. coffee wouldn't do me any good right now... i need him to learn to cook so he can make me breakfast! i've had nothing but a few pretzels (for the salt, for my throat) for the last 24 hours. i wonder if he could manage some fried eggs? anyway sorry you're lonely. but think of all the germs you're escaping!

Lol, I am sorry you are sick. Feel better soon.
Sorry you're feeling a little down and incomplete today. You missing THE person, or just having A person?
Saturday mornings staying in bed a bit too long drinking coffee and what not always seemed like cheating, and getting one over on the rat race existence we live. It never quite feel the same when I don't have anyone to cheat with.
