Am I the only one that believes that Eve was actually the daughter of Adam and Lilith? ( And yes I know that they’re most likely fictional but since the story of Adam and Eve is used as a basis for all humanity I believe that it’s a valid question. )
And my reasoning behind this theory is that I’ve read the book of Lilith which clearly states that she’s Adams wife.
And when you read the story of Adam and Eve and learn that the forbidden fruit is carnal knowledge you then have to ask why is it that everyone else is encouraged to be fruitful and multiply but not them.
And I’ve read that during the time when the Bible was being transcribed that the when it says that god took from Adams rib that rib was quite possibly a double entendre, and was being used as a reference to Adams penis.
Which would most likely mean that Eve was of Adams seed and that god had forbidden them to know each other in a carnal way. But apparently she tempted Adam into having sex with her therefore and the rest is still inaccurate history.
What difference does it make? It's all fiction! These people you've described never actually existed. They're made-up characters, from folklore. We may as well argue over characters from Game of Thrones, but at least that would be more interesting!
@Robsweapon oh look! the new guy earned a block for being a snowflake. oh, the feefees!

I thought Lilith only gave birth to demons.
@Robsweapon I know, and as the legend goes, Lilith left in a rage when Adam wouldn't let her have top during sex.
