What about the Catholic moms daughters??? When were were young there were 4 boys and 2 girls (they were younger). One of the few things we got in trouble for was not being nice to the girls (and they used that a lot). Still, This is supposed to be a developed country. Girls have value here.

Being raised a Catholic, I think it's fair to say that in general, no training is given to children about living a virtuous life. In my day, the subject was never discussed. Our perception of the relationship between the sexes was that women protected their virginity at all costs so it was the business of a man to find a way past the obstructions.
