I like most pies including:
Lemon Meringue
Mince
Key Lime
Not crazy about Coconut Cream Pie.
@Donotbelieve I prefer mince in tarts they are a winter holiday season must.
@Donotbelieve My mother was English that is likely where I acquired the taste, that and the fact I like rum must for any good mincemeat.
Saskatoon, apple and rhubarb is mine.
I miss so many Canadian favs.. not pies but I would love some Nanaimo bars ?
@Green_eyes I've been to Canada on business 100s of times and a Nanaimo bar was always a must
@Green_eyes @steve 148 Nanaimo bars are delicious but they are not PPPPIIIIIIIE
@HeathenFarmer, yes I said that... lol
Depends on season. At the end of winter I want lemon anything. Lemon meringue would be wonderful Something about the yellow and flavor speaks of spring. The rest of the time Chocolate Silk is my favorite. And then fruit pies from time to time. I can make a great Pear Pie. Sorta like apple, but with pears. And yes, I will make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving.
Apple overall. I do like pumpkin however. And for s junk food snack there is a local company (more regional now) which makes tiny round pies and I enjoy their raison pie (I know the old owner's/starter's sons.)
If I could eat pie, I'd eat all of them (sigh). But I'm especially partial to pecan, pumpkin, and blueberry.
Coconut cream... I don't understand why any other pie is necessary lol
My favorite pie is apple.
@PalacinkyPDX Indeed. And a hot cup of coffee.
All of them, depending on the time of year.
