Rains and rains and rains....
Try living in the Pacific Northwest. It starts raining in early November and rains virtually every day until mid April.
@skibum1 here would be much less snow anyway. Lower elevations might get light dustings which seldom last long due to rapid melting. Once you get into elevations of 1500 feet or more, you get lots more snow in this area.
In any case you want a car with front wheel or four sheel drive, nto just because fo snow, but because of "freezing fog" whi puts frost onto the streets in the mornings during the winter. Not all winter long, but it happens enough that you want to front or four wheel drive just for safety.
