Planetai It is by way of naturalistic patterns and order, I feel gifted to have a foundational footage to build my nature-based worldview. I find it interesting that the Greek root word for planet is planetai ---> meaning "wandering." I endorse the idea that us human earthlings we are indeed nature-created wanderers and Cosmic pilgrims as we individually make our meandering journey in search of discovering, “Who am I?,” “What am I?, and in finding our place in the Cosmos. The Aristotelian and Ptolemic geocentric model created a dualism between the celestial and the terrestrial. The Copernican heliocentric model proposed a union between the celestial and the terrestrial realms. The Copernican Model is the doctrine of universal sympathy proclaiming an order "as above, so below." Importantly, there is now an understanding and appreciation that celestial (empyrean) events do influence terrestrial (earthly) events.
