Name a worse human invention than justification...
Eugenics, feminine subservience and subjugation to masculine, slavery, heroin, methamphetamines (specifically methedrine,) the War on Drugs, party politics, feudalism, monetary economics, anthropic deities, organized religion, standardized educational indoctrination paradigms, nuclear weaponry, chemical weaponry, weaponized biological agents and pathogens, the MK Ultra project, zealotry, xenophobic nationalism, intentional scarcity of resources as an economic motivating factor, theocratic and religion-centric forms of government, female genital mutilation.
Justification is merely the slime upon which the evil inventions of man float and is the natural result of the human mind reconciling its objectionable choices and actions with their consequences in an effort to maintain a positive self image .
@Rideauxb strongly disagree. Justification is not a creative force, it is a defensive coping mechanism used to keep a person from feeling guilty about their actions. In many cases the justification doesn't even exist until the action is challenged by an outside observer; a person who believes that something awful is acceptable doesn't NEED to justify it to themselves, only to others.
@Rideauxb you don't have to justify it to yourself, no. You have RATIONALIZED to yourself that they are no more than animals.
Justification is what you have to do to convince the guy to whom you're trying to sell the slave that it's acceptable for him to buy.
Justification is certainly one of the most effective means of SPREADING human awfulness, but on its own is only moderately objectionable. If anything, rationalization is the true evil. If a person couldn't convince themselves an objectionable action is acceptable they wouldn't NEED to justify their actions to others.
I am confused... What is wrong with justification?
@Bierbasstard I'm thinking that this is one of those situations where im referring to the original definition again. Which sounds like a good thing. And this post was referring to another definition all together. ?
@Bierbasstard I have herded cats before! It's no joke either, those little turds are fast! Lmao
