If old timey theater of the mind, serialized type fiction has any appeal, I recommend The Thrilling Adventure Hour. There are several different ensemble programs they put on as parodies of different types of shows. They feature absurdly hilarious writing, insanely talented actors and live music stings. My favorite couple shows within the show are Sparks Nevada: Marshall on Mars, a sci fi space western, and Beyond Belief, about Frank and Sadie Doyle, a pair of aristocratic lushes who investigate paranormal happenings while drinkin like fishes. The show opens with frank asking: Who CARES what evil lurks in the hearts of men? Sadie: unless Evil's carrying the martini tray, dahling! clink
