I understand that there are many different ways to partner, and I try not
to judge other peopleÕs choices, but for me, I would like to find an equal
partner, some one who contributes as much as I do to a relationship. This
doesnÕt have to be about money, but in totally, the work, effort and total
contribution we bring. I have expectations for myself, and in the past l’ve
found it difficult to find someone who had similarly high expectations for
themselves. It seems like so many people want to do just enough to get by,
but I want more than that.

A refreshing perspective as I have shied away from more traditional provider/dependent (help meet?) relationships.

How successful have you been finding those who aim higher than "just getting by"? Was their aim as high as yours? Do you draw a line denoting "enough" and "let's play!"?
