African Panafricanism fanatics and their allies in Africa,are trying very harder to make me believe that Western Countries are the problem to African political and economical progressive journey. I say to them that we are in 2018. The west are no longer the problem,that's an excuse. I know who my enemies are. I will not look at the west.

My enemy is my fellow black African just as they were the enemies of the blacks who were sold in slavery. Blaming Whites for slavery but vindicate African rulers who exchanged guns and spices with their fellow black human beings beats my understanding and makes me speechless. Today, African black people are the real threat to the survival of blacks in Africa.

Taking responsibility for one's own country is a positive act but no country can go their own way. What monetary practices of say the World Bank or the IMF have contributed to the destabilizing poverty in Africa? Also where we are now is the direct result of the past. Oh, and European colonial powers exploited already existing conflicts in Africa to their benefit. It's called divide and conquer. The English were especially good at this.

You are right.

There is probably some truth to what you say, but Western Countries have, is and always will be the problem for not only Africa but for every country on this planet that can be exploited for any reason that will benefit Western Countries.

We are in 2018,and we have all the information we need to guide us make good decisions and not be used by anyone else.

@0752532706 I agree with what you are saying here but when the majority of humanity is dominated by centuries old religious texts, dogma, myths, fairy tales, adversarial and uncompromising political ideas nothing is going to change. (IMHO)

@jlynn37 I agree with you.

May I turn the comment slightly? I have been curious for some time about how China is seen in Africa? Also, is China in fact making headway in their campaign to become a major influence in the future of sub-Sahara Africa?

In simple words, China and India are the new colonial masters, and that's okay with Africans tyrannical regimes because China doesn't ask about human rights, political pluralism and economic liberties. And with that, ordinary Africans must prepare for the worst.

@0752532706, China's usual plan is to emigrate Chinese citizens to countries of interest and for them to earn a place in the invaded land, with an eye to tying the invaded land 'd future to China's future. Even if it takes generations. I am wondering if you are seeing any of that?.

@Dick_Martin I do my friend, and this is not an easy fight since it's enabled by our fellow black savages who sometimes behave like human being

@0752532706 Now you have aroused my curiosity on another point... what do you mean by savage? How do you define whether a being is savage or human?

@Dick_Martin A savage is anyone how finds happiness in incapacitating other human beings, anyone who takes away the freedom and right of thoughts, some who takes away the right to health, someone who uses state authority to demean anyone who challenges him/her, some who don't allow freedom of assembly,someone who ring-fence the national economy, someone who is is a money hoarder, someone with narcissistic personality disorder, someone who turns a whole Nation as his/her personal property....oh dear,the list is endless.
