I just got to witness the miracle of birth....in a wheelchair....in front of me....with no drugs....
I'm traumatized. Yep. I think my vagina just sewed itself up. I could feel the pain from my desk. She looked as though hell itself had opened up inside her vagina.
I'm shook fam
I have seen both of the births of my children. It was astounding, and I felt a surge of love for my children like nothing I've ever felt before. I'm unable to use the word "miracle" even facetiously, since by definition a miracle is something that defies physical laws and therefore cannot occur.
I myself am a miracle. Scientifically speaking there is no way I should have lived and I did. I believe in miracles just not some floaty magic man
I couldn't believe how messy it was. Odd thing to focus on I guess. I've attended many goat births. It's kind of enjoyable. They are quick & don't seem as messy. Only one goat cried. & the babies are are all adorable.
My brother was trying to tell me "I saw a kangaroo give birth it's basically the same thing super easy" boy I'm glad he's gay. Lmfao
(Note he did not see a kangaroo give birth. He saw a baby kangaroo come out of her pouch.)
What I saw today was nothing short of the most intense agony a human body can experience with zero medical assistance
Sideier note cute kid. I'm also terrified of goats haha
There is a reason I'm clerical not medical
When my children were born I was not allowed in the room. They were C-section and back in the 1970 things were different. We also had a bad doctor. Everything worked out alright but I was not there for it. Birth like death is not a pleasant thing.
Yeah now they know how to set up a screen - back then? Not so much. I wouldn't want an extra human in an operating theatre myself. However - that's kind of sad.
My Mom had 4 C-sections - the last three were planned - and scheduled. All early in the morning. (I've never wanted to do anything early in the morning since - I blame the surgeon!).
