Good (IMHO) deep dish pizza I made today. Most order out deep dish pizza is a thick crust with the same layers of toppings as a regular pizza. I have only had a really good deep dish some years back at a small Italian place that has long since gone out of business, a real pizza "pie". This is my version, similar to the one from years back. Crust is croissant dough from a can, Italian sausage, pepperoni, shrooms, onions, red bell pepper, sauce, 4 blend pizza cheese, and the usual pizza spices. Was delicious!
