1:00 AM out delivering newspapers to make some extra cash. 3:00 AM backed into a ditch with the car pointed up at about fifty degrees vertical. 3:10 AM good ole boy with a four wheel drive pulls poor little red Ford out of the ditch in return for a sunday paper. 4:30 AM limped home with Poor Little Red Ford engine not going over 1/4 mile at a time before stalling. 4:45 AM switched cars and back on the road. If not for switching to standard time I would not have made my 7:30 AM deadline.
