Neither the President nor the Republican Party have empathy for anyone; their greed rules. People may die, but it will not be a disaster. Climate change is a disaster in the making. They can be throttled, and if everyone paid attention, we could be rid of them in a dozen years. Unfortunately, it is a dangerous situation for the poorest least capable people, including the soldiers who do not want to fire on anyone, but who may be given the order.
