I used to try and vote the best candidate. Most times it was a Democrat or independent; yet, on occasion, a Republican would be better. Been years since that has happened and tomorrow it will be straight Blue ticket. Honestly I think since 79 and Gingrich, I haven't voted for a Republican (and no, I never voted Reagan - too much like a quiet Trump or Pence light; the crusher of American spirit.

I've gone through several changes. Having been raised in a religious family, I started out voting Republican. Then I went through a Libertarian phase. Then I wised up and became a Democrat. I, too, have been known to cross party lines, depending on the candidate, but like you, I have for several election cycles voted straight blue.
Will vote tomorrow, and give you a blue wave.
