I decided to go with the laughing emoji over the sad emoji in response to the statement. I just want to be posiive.

first of all, i have voted for some people i really LIKE. but if that's not how you feel about it, then hold your nose and vote for the lesser of what you consider the two evils, because (second of all) it MATTERS. right now we have one party, and it's not in charge. who is in charge is a criminal organization posing as a political party. if you think that it makes no difference whether or not a criminal organization is in charge, then you need to look a little more closely at how things are.

It always puts me in mind of the joke in Master and Commander, where “one should always choose the lesser of two weevils”.

I don't disagree, but the lesser of two evils is still less evil, and doing nothing accomplishes nothing.
