Who remembers this fucknut?
Oh now there's a blast from the past.
Seriously crazy lady, as I recall the pagan family she went to live with were really nice and seemed a heck of a lot more civilised than god's own loud mouth.
What the hell is this all about?
It was a show from years back called Wife Swap, where couples from different life styles would have the wives live in each others house for a period of time. The crazy women was a Christian who just got back from living with a guy who was into Devil worshiping (I think that's what it was). In any case, his lifestyle seemed like harmless fun, not to be taken seriously.
@chucklesIII He and his wife were not devil worshipers they were pagan nature worshipers and were very nice people who did nothing but maker her welcome.
@chucklesIII I don't know whether I'm more horrified by that insane woman's behavior or that TV show being seen as entertainment! Oh wait, yes I do: it's the crazy lady's behavior.
@LenHazell53 , yeah, I remember them being very nice to her. I just didn't remember which sky pixie they believed in.
@LenHazell53, @pashaonenine , well, here we are years later and still people remember She should have her own show!
@chucklesIII There was a similar celebrity version when when Ted (I am so not gay) Haggard and Gary Busey swapped wives, Mrs. Haggard sat in a corner gibbering when Busey invited a native American Medicine man to bless her and help her have strength to support her disgraced husband in a time of trouble, and Ted himself was trying to surreptitiously exorcise his home after having a "pagan witch" within it's walls.
Freaking hilarious
All I have is compassion for this person that seems to be suffering from some kind of mental illness. How nice it would be to dismiss this as something simply caused by religion, when the root of the problem is something probably far more complicated that just so happens to take a religious shape.
I've always contended that religious faith is a mental illness.
This woman proves it.
@KKGator Well, I suppose we are talking about different things when we say mental illness.
@KKGator spot on diagnosis
@indirect76 if someone went about professing fanatical belief in anything other than god, talking to imaginary beings, giving them money and tell everyone else they were going to suffer eternal torture
Would you think them sane?
@LenHazell53 No, I would not think them sane.
