I served in the British RAF in my youth not conscripted but volunteered to go there and had lots of fun where they break you down and rebuild you as a fighting machine serving your country...but what I do not get is all the world war 2 shit...remembrance day nonsense and here is why....
Most of the people were conscripted and if you were not prepared to die for your king and country you were branded a coward and shot...
You were given 6 weeks to find out which end of a gun you shot out of...
You were told that as soon as the enemy saw you they would surrender no matter how much superior fire power they had..
Both the German gods and any other gods available would save you no matter what..
The British poppy thing is based on hundreds of soldiers on both sides of the war being mass buried in great big holes, covered and the only thing that grew from it was poppies that the drug lords of the time were not too keen to tell people what the actual poppy seeds were actually for..so sue me
