It always amazes me when people talk about how God helped them with something trivial, yet for some reason he's turning a blind eye toward the suffering of sick, starving, and impoverished people, kids who are abused, raped, torn from families. What? Did those children not pray hard enough for food? Were they just too insincere when they begged for mercy when they've been raped and tortured? Such ego among the devout that says finding car keys is the work of an all-powerful, all-loving, all-wise, all-knowing God, yet the misery of hundreds of millions of people is part of some "divine plan." Fuck the divine plan.
@TheMiddleWay I never said anything about proving whether a God or gods exist or specified what the divine plan should be. I was pointing out the arrogance of thinking God intervenes to help you find your car keys while the prayers of suffering people go unanswered, and the justification is often that God has a divine plan and/or works in mysterious ways. That was my only point.
@TheMiddleWay Just stop. You said I made a case against the existence of God. I didn't. I'm not going to play your game, whatever it is. You seem to have a problem with me and, if so, that's your business. Leave me out of it.
