Gmail can and does read every single one of your emails.
So what's a person to do?
Switch to Protonmail!
What is Protonmail?
ProtonMail is an end-to-end encrypted email service founded in 2014 at the CERN research facility by Andy Yen, Jason Stockman, and Wei Sun. ProtonMail uses client-side encryption to protect email contents and user data before they are sent to ProtonMail servers, unlike other common email providers such as Gmail and Outlook.com. The service can be accessed through a webmail client, the Tor network, or dedicated iOS and Android apps.
Here's an interesting article about the difference between Gmail and Protonmail:
Whatever. They can read all the notifications people send me and be bored to pieces. I can't remember the last time I sent an email. But I'm sure that was boring, too.
I honestly don’t care who reads my emails. I have a mantra to not put anything online I wouldn’t want the whole world to see.
The biggest threat to our personal security is ourselves. Opening email from people you do not know and easily falling victim to scams.
My emails are not classified.....they can read my dirty laundry if they like
@pepperjones ???
That's the beginning. Next they will be sharing your medical information, your DNA and you'll say, hey if it helps someone else out, I'm into it. Then they'll share your banking information and you'll say whatever, it's cool! Then they'll want a key to your house so they can deliver amazon packages right to your kitchen table and you'll be like, awesome! What customer service. Pretty soon they will have everything there is that you are and when you realize it's all just a huge AI project to control the world and create SkyNet, by then it'll be too late
@celticagent No worries, Terminator will save us all !!! ?
