I'm a bit more left than right, but this is hilarious. [rt.com] I never liked Hillary anyway . . . . Some of the things she has done are absolutely horrid . . . Libya, Hondurus, supporting the Iraq war for money in exchange . . . It is all there for those willing to see it.
Simple question: would you prefer HRC in the presidency now, or what we’ve got? - and ‘no neithers,’ cuz that was our nation's choice..
Voting for either is legitimizing the government. The government is not run by the clowns that are elected president. If it were, it would change when the president changed. Most Americans just do not get that, and most of them do not want to get that, because it would embarrass them to have been hoodwinked so easily. Most Americans would prefer to turn a blind eye to what our government does overseas, to the militarization of society, as long as it does not effect them. They'd rather live in La La Land as opposed to seeing their government orchestrating chaos overseas, coups, dropping bombs . . . invading countries . . . behaving in general like the old Soviet Union, only worse.
The answer is there, if it is incomprehensible to you, so be it. As for a "way out", that does not include voting when there is literally no chance whatsoever it will change anything. Voting is not much different than pissing into the wind, and legitimizes the criminals. As long as people do that, the same criminals with thrive . . . . War is when government tells people who their enemy is. A revolution is when they figure it out for themselves.
@THHA I’ve read eloquent descriptions of the massive differences between our two political parties, but hardly know where to begin describing them... But the pivotal points I vividly recall between recent presidencies are: LBJ to Nixon; Carter to Reagan; Clinton to Bush Jr ...and Obama to ‘this.’
But it’s not just president's, it’s Congresses and the Supreme Court also calling the shots … let alone 50 State Governors and their legislatures..
I’m reminded of my Dad, fishing & ball games were his priority. Politics was an annoyance; he ignores it to this day.. He reluctantly votes, but not strategically. He doesn't understand how we politically got here, hates ‘government,’ and doesn't care what happens after he’s gone. Ross Perot got his vote..
He’s exactly what those currently in power want; if they’re not susceptible to single-issue voting -- the negative propaganda keeps them from voting at all. And what continues to irk me … are those popping up, not only around here - but nearly every gathering ..like hecklers, telling us we’re “wasting our time - there’s no difference between parties - nothing changes - they’re all crooked - the system’s rigged” ….. As the opposition, in order to maintain their: assault weapons, religious fanaticism, discrimination & prejudices, hatred of women's rights… continue to march lock-step to the polls..
We need to advocate for participation, not withdrawal. When around 50% of eligible voters don’t - this is what we get ... and perhaps, what deserve Help dig us out ~
I did not find one thing in your reply that mentioned what our government is doing overseas, and that explains everything about why you advocate voting. As I mentioned in another post "Americans are destroying other countries when they support what is in Washington. Voting legitimizes the war criminals. The US has been behaving even worse than the deeds of the old Soviet Union. One million killed in Iraq on false pretenses, US orchestrated coups, bombings, drones, refugees as a result, and Americas complain because someone sees all this and refuses to be part of it, and mark my word, voting is taking part in it, it legitimizes it. Hospitals were bombed, Libya's water supply was bombed . . . war crimes. That is not protecting America, that is playing the Nazi, and Americans a complicit in it when they support either Democrats or Republicans, because both support this war for profit and conquest." Voting is legitimizing murder, violence, bombings, droning, coups, and all the other military actions taking place overseas. People who support and vote for these warmongers are no less guilty than the war mongers themselves . . .
@THHA What’s your answer … other than ‘not voting’? You’ve mentioned letting artificial life run our nation ..or something like that. How and when will that work? Who programs it? ...I’m not finding answers or suggestions here, just an accusatory disconnect.
There appear to be Purists, those incapable of accepting human greed and aggression, so they fixate on such frailties. Others step up, work around them, and do whatever in their power to make things better..
Seems pointless here attempting to describe the necessity of voting in our democracy. You’ve obviously given up.. I haven’t, and if I witness other’s advocating we all give up, I will continue to speak up in an attempt to guide them to better times.
I did not claim to have all the answers . . . where did you get that idea? Voting is NOT one of them though. Not when it is aiding and abetting mass murderers. Perhaps it does not bother you . . . . it does me, and I am not going to support these assholes.
@THHA If your answer is to discourage others from using the hard fought rights their forefathers died for, and have nothing but disdain for your country - and anyone willing to help create a more perfect union … then stand back and let the rest of us continue to do it for you. But the deal is, you’ve given up your right to complain.
I don't know why she is a democrats. She should join the republicans they would all get along just fine, after all they have the same outlook on what is good for the American public.
if you REALLY think that you nothing nothing about clinton and nothing about republicans.

Yes, it is in writing, that does not make it decipherable simply because it is in writing. I can do the same thing, then claim that I said something sensible. It has been paradoxically proven that both ontologically and semantically existent events, with a few subcatagorical and cosmological imperatives, sententially, are within the grasp of the average pan troglodyte. I would not venture to comment on it, but the product that issues from these deterministic tendencies of the intransigent, imperceptive superorganisms could be just a Götterdämmerung brought on by excessive flatulence. . . . . It is in writing! It must mean something!
Flipping and flopping?[agnostic.com]
oh this meme is such crap. first of all, changing one's mind over a period of years to go from wrong to right is not exactly flip-flopping. it's called growing. second of all, some of the crap in here isn't even true. but hey, it's easy to attack hillary. everyone does it.
g
sorry, but you've been believing propaganda about hillary. it is all there for those willing to believe lies. she did support the war in iraq; it was NOT for money in exchange. everything else is just garbage.
g
And then he references a site run by the Russian Government.
MSNBC is Russian "propaganda"? Clinton's OWN WORDS are "Russian propaganda"? Wow, now that is really distorting the facts!
"sorry, but you've been believing propaganda about hillary. it is all there for those willing to believe lies. she did support the war in iraq; it was NOT for money in exchange. everything else is just garbage." Now that I have proven that inaccurate, your whole premise is pretty much mute.
Yes, I meant "moot", however, that does not change what your idol said in the video, and your idol did exactly what I said she did and what SHE said she did . . . . but since you are unable to accept the possibility that you were wrong from the beginning, I will leave it up to our readers who are open-minded enough to actually weigh the evidence presented by me to decide who made the best argument . . . . it is impossible to respect an opinion of someone who is unwilling to consider evidence, and there is therefore no point in considering their opinion on anything valid.
