This is a silly complaint. Did no one read the whole sentence? Particularly where it says: "... or any other private nonprofit facility…”.
None of that bothers me. What bothers me is that fema exists at all.

I'm torn, coming from the south, about all the confederate statues that are coming down. As my head tells me that it is a part of my history, I would never want someone to feel uncomfortable walking by a statue, so I understand it. But what about the separation of church and state and freedom of religion? I walk by that all the time! It's on our money, it's on or licence plates, it's on our county and state buildings, in our schools. Where is the justice in that? It's being shoved down our throats at every turn.

"In God We Trust" is our national motto because of the Cold War. It was propaganda against those "godless commies" made in 1954. We have freedom of religion in our country. You can pray to any god you wish to pray to. You can attend any church, synagogue, mosque or temple you wish without government interference. That is the purpose of the "Free Exercise Clause" of the First Amendment. It is the "Establishment Clause" that is being threatened by the right-wing Christians and the GOP.
