How spooky do you think this is!!!!!
Mom asked Dad to send her a butterfly when he got to wherever he went to after he passed away.
She had to go and identify his body before he was taken away,but could not do it,so asked a friend to help.
When she arrived to pick Mom up,she found a stick on fridge magnet metal butterfly in the car footwell, and gave it to Mom,said she never saw it before,but thought Mom would like it.
WTF!!!!!! ??

it's a big world. stuff happens, sometimes coincidentally. i would not make much of it. it's a nice thing to remember but it doesn't mean that it's actually meaningful, certainly not meaningful in the way you might think.

Strange coincidence. Maybe enough to start believing for a little while?

why? why would that be a reason to "start believing" even for a little while?

g

That's one of the problems with stories like this. They're easily dismissed as coincidence.

@genessa It could be a reason to start believing for someone who doesn't want to think that it is a coincidence.

@Stephanie99 right, so if you WANT to believe you don't even NEED a reason. is there a logical reason not to think it's a coincidence? no. you have to have an opinion beforehand. religion is good for that.

g

@genessa I was raised without religion and with critical thinking. Despite that, I had an inclination to believe that coincidence might be telling me something. I think that it is a normal human impulse.

@Stephanie99 it may be. that doesn't mean it is meaningful. it's a normal impulse to point the toe while having a leg cramp too. it's the worst thing to do too. flex. go figure.

g

@genessa I agree.
