What are some things you’re not able to tolerate as you get older?
Screeching noise air pollution zionism fascism
Heat ....... and I’m a lifetime beach bum .... !!
I've always liked long hair . A few years ago , I cut it all off & gave it to cancer . I've kept it short ever since . Most rap music gets on my nerves , but it always has . I like a little of it , but nothing popular . I guess repeat songs 10 times a day , but I think everyone is that way .
Alcohol.
I don't get a hangover, I just don't enjoy feeling drunk. It hasn't stopped me drinking, but is does mean that I rarely have more than a single beer or glass of wine.
It helps with the waistline and the pocket too!
I'm trying to be more tolerant. I think I'm succeeding but I still need to work more on it..
I rarely answer when the doorbell rings if I don't know who is coming. If I don't expect someone to show up then they are not invited and likely to be selling something, and I don't have time to waste. I don't read many magazines, I am not ready to sell my house, I have a fairly new roof, and I don't want cookies/candy/popcorn/gift wrap or other such crap from your school.
I rarely wear cosmetics anymore. I'm not horrible looking but I'm also not trying to impress anyone.
I have less tolerance for extremes of cold and heat. Kinda sucks, but at least I can put on more clothing in winter to keep warm.
I don't tolerate crap from sales clerks in stores. I had a cashier comment on something I was buying, I first asked for an explanation of the comment, then I asked for the manager to come over. Then I emailed corporate. I hope it was a good learning experience for the cashier.
How is that for starters.
When I make a doctors appointment and you have to wait for the doctor way past your appointment time. Why is it they think our time is worthless? I've walked out of offices many times and have canged doctors often. At my age every minute counts.. lol
@Redcupcoffee It's because they quadruple book. It's about the money
Pants. Who the hell started the custom that its the guys who have to wear pants. No, really. Logically, SKIRTS are more suited for guys. And behaviourally, too. Guys need to "manspread", and women, the opposite. It's all so illogical.
Pants are a pain in the bladder if you've waited to long to find a restroom.
@HippieChick58 are neck ties, high heels, and pants the result of our human conceit of "fashion".
@SamKerry OMG yes! And men started the high heel trend. Neck ties are just plain stupid, who wants to tie a noose around their neck first thing in the morning. BUT, I'd rather wear pants than a skirt. They're warmer, and I don't have to worry about what might be showing.
