I am possibly a little OCD with things like tax, I do my books and tax 3 months before the end of the financial year ie tax time. So for 9 months I just do what I do, the last 3 months income and expenses are made in order to suit me. It is a trick I used in the corporate world for decades, nothing at all illegal or immoral I have been audited many times and have been commended for the accuracy of my records and for paying the correct amount of tax. It is really strange to get such letters from our Tax Office.

That pretty much sums it up . I always arranged to have to pay at the end of the year instead . As the old saying goes , "It's my money & I want it now " !

I have mixed feelings about tax season. I am always short staffed at my office due to my Staff calling off when their refunds are in hand. It is called the," refund flu" around here. I appreciate the bump in income some get but it gets bothersome.
