Some idiot, thinks because I've some standards and at 50+, I'm not willing, to put up, with any BS, this will be me and sent it to me, in response to a Craigslist post, some time ago (before they closed down the personals sections).
Maybe so but I would rather be alone, and stress free, than be putting up, with bullshit, into my old age because I'm desperate.

I am with you...I think many people are threatened by strong, independent women and think they can shame or harass us into settling for poop...nope...stay strong and true to yourself...people who are also strong and interesting find each other...the rest can take a hike

What the hell is wrong with people who cannot accept that some of us have no need of a partner? I'm certainly not going to put up with anyone else's bullshit, just so I am not alone.
It doesn't have anything to do with race either. It's about not being willing to settle just to be in a relationship.
