Why isn't the turkey ready yet?
it's because no one eats turkey on chanukah, right? that's why, isn't it? that must be why....

I haven't lost my cultural ties, but I'll eat turkey any time it's offered. On the other hand, I have to have my latkes with sour cream and apple sauce, kugel, brisket, and knishes around this time of the year. I also make a mean blintz with cream cheese and honey, smothered in lignon berries. Damn, now I have to go to the kitchen.
oh we shall have our latkes with sour cream and we may even have a matza brei, because we can!

Its Chanukah so that means fried turkey! All the noms!
leftovers WILL be fried!

@SallyInStitches -- You bet. I take thinly sliced turkey breast, bread it with a spicy coating, and fry it to just shy of crisp.
