I doubt this was a serious suit. I think he wanted to highlight the transgender issue and all the notions of socially constructed identities. I am keen to read the judge's reasons for rejecting his case.

@TheMiddleWay I don't believe it! A man with his status and money? As for the relationship between sex and gender, I think you're saying sex can't be changed but gender can. I understand that as saying your biological sexual designation is fixed but your attitude towards your gender is not. The guy was saying something similar when he said that his age was fixed but his attitude towards it was quite different.
