..at first glance, I was gonna say - if you’ve got it turned up loud enough! Got snow..?
Not yet... even though I know it won't, I keep hoping it will just be rain...
And just like that it has begun.... 2 hours early.... And it isn't rain....
@Heidi68 WoW -- though we’re catching up fast in SW VA… Looks like it should be ending for you ..as we’ve got hours more to go. Everything’s closed up and folks are hunkered down, including me!
I see our projected ‘highs’ have gone up … what worried me, beyond losing power (again), were the projected low temps for next week, meaning this stuff wasn’t going away soon.. But I’ve nowhere important to go
I’m holding off on photos though, I’d like to get a ‘total pic,’ and it’s still a blizzard outside.. And not all that pretty, kind of an end of the world gray Thanks for posting yours ..I’m curious what your elevation is? I’m at nearly 2,500 feet, near the blue ridge parkway ~
@Heidi68 It’s now snowed 14 hours straight here, but I think the tail end is near.. The kids & I had withstood 42 inches in two days back in the Cast Range of Oregon … literally built a fire in my metal (open sided) wood shed to melt snow/ weight off it’s roof, so I’ve experienced a lot worse, but we’re likely around 16 inches up here..
Do miss my farm, and dogs ..and daughters, but not the stress of downed trees, generator, chaining up, digging out ..school ‘snow routes’ and boredom.. At least it’s powdery stuff up here, back in OR is was always wet & heavy … usually followed by warm rain & flooding. Rarely a dull moment Stay safe ~
Trump in a Speedo. How am I going to get that image out of my head?
Yeah sorry about that part....
