I have been remiss in not updating you on the third long-distance visit. I was there almost 4 weeks, and DharmaBum50 and I had a wonderful visit! He showed me around Berea, KY, and we travelled to Asheville, NC, drove the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, stayed at the Cumberland Lodge, and visited many, many breweries. My favorite beer tasted like jalapenos. DharmaBum50 likes that plus hoppy or dark IPAs. We had a grand time. Next time is June, when I move in with him.

My daughter and her family lived in Asheville for a time, and years ago, my late wife and I traveled there a few times for medical services. It's a lovely area. Congratulations!
