I LOVE the photo. I went from caring desperately about what people think of me when I was young to now liking it if people like me but shrugging if they don't. Don't misunderstand me....if someone harshly verbally attacks me, I wil defend myself, but if I am just not their cup of tea, I let it go. It took me a long time to learn to put that into practice, but I really do believe in the motto "it's none of my business what you think of me." It is, in fact, literally impossible to please everyone. The very things that some may admire in us are enough for others to despise us. To each their own.
This really resonates with me (just in life, generally, not specifically re: blocking on this site). May I PM you?
@stinkeye_a sure
@MikeInBatonRouge hmm.. can't... Dunno if it's your settings or a glitch. Thanks anyway
Have you seen the episode of Black Mirror where people can "block" each other in real life? Kind of disturbing. Well, it is Black Mirror, so of course.
I think about that episode all the time...
@PalacinkyPDX I think it was the episode called White Christmas. Jon Hamm was in it.
I’m tempted to ask you to block me just so I can join ...
@PalacinkyPDX You are my type of Group Leader! I will storm the Gates of Hell fou you!
How do you know if you have been blocked? I have no idea...and I have not blocked a single person...
you kind of have to intuit it. Usually looking at a post and it comes up unavailable or trying to view a bio and says they don't exist
@btroje oh...lol...I guess I am blocked then from quite a few...ha ha ha
@PalacinkyPDX So people get kicked off as well? Or maybe quit...hmmm...seems a few people I chatted with are gone...guess no means no didn't compute...
@PalacinkyPDX Moi? I never solicited a dick pic...but I never reported when one was sent to me and apparently people got upset because I didn't...I just can't win...ha ha ha
@PalacinkyPDX I would call their mom
@btroje Some of them no longer have living moms...yeah...kinda pathetic
@PalacinkyPDX I am glad I don't know too much about that...I prefer to be naive in a lot of stuff on the internet...
