Now our phone service has given us FREE calls (including international) on Christmas Day. I am not a scammer and do not want anything, but if anyone would like a phone call from a friendly Brit (Don't forget the time difference), say so and I will call you. Especially if you are alone. Building a community is important to me.
Best wishes

Very kind of you. How goes boxing day in modern Britain? Knowing its origin story, how has it stood up in a socialist country (just writing socialist, I do so wish more of us Americans knew the true definition)
Well Boxing Day was the day when those of my class (working class) got a box of goodies and paid (yes annually) by their employers. They had already slaved (and that term is not used lightly) for the middle and upper classes on Christmas Day. Boxing Day was a day off for the serving classes. There are traditions of kings serving servants going back to the middle ages. It is wank, based on the ideas that certain humans are inherently better than others. Nowadays Boxing day is usually about local football derbies, way too much alocohol and not a god in sight.
Who do you have Vodafone or EE?
O2 but it'll be a landline call
I'd like one at 3:00 am your time just to see what that's like. (-8
