Are free non-alcoholic drinks at bars with bands and a cover a thing now? I drank a lot of Shirley Temples. I'm not sure if I'm more surprised that they knew what drink that is or if they kept giving to them for me for free. They had free water too. in snow cone cups. I really need to get out more.

The only time I've ever seen it is as a perk for designated drivers. It may be different now, though, for all I know because it's been several years since I've played in a band.
