I FINALLY got around to seeing "The Book of Mormon". Have you seen it? I hear some people were unhappy with the vulgarity or irreverence. What did you think?

The Mormons have a strange and bloody history.
I loved it. Very entertaining, well crafted and very funny.

I agree, and very strong performances by the cast!
i wish i could see it. i've seen bits of it televised. vulgarity is relative; using a "bad" word, to me, is not in and of itself vulgar, but being president and doing any of the things trump does is quite vulgar. as for irreverent, that is the point, isn't it? that's a GOOD thing!

Usually vulgarity and irreverence are too cheap and easy for making humor and usually indicate someone who is too lazy to develop something more clever. However it pretty much worked in BoM. I enjoyed it, but had an idea of what to expect. I heard that some people went in not knowing and wound up leaving, offended. Too bad you are off the tour path.
