I just saw where you live. I’m getting ready to retire and if this country keeps going the way it’s going I’m thinking about getting out. I’ve checked into Nova Scotia. It seems like a wonderful place, pretty, quiet, sane! The U.S. IS ANYTHING BUT SANE right now.

@Wangobango3 I have not checked out teaching there. I don’t think I would want a full time teaching gig cuz that sorta defeats the idea of retirement but some work would be ok. What kind of income, say monthly, would you need there to live a rather easy, simple type life? I mean like pay a mortgage or rent, pay monthly bills, buy groceries, etc.

@Wangobango3 thanks for the info....I think I could live quite comfortably there. I was just checking out homes for sale there....not bad. Much better than U.S. prices. It’s all good info to consider.

Good job on no cigs. I stopped, cold turkey, September 1, 2018. I miss it. It also made me limit my alcohol consumption because a beer and a cigarette goes together like shoes and socks. High blood pressure screws up lots of fun stuff.

Lol! I'm out of weed, I can't drive because I fractured my knee and delivery is cash only, kind of Jonesin' here.

I don't have a dealer, we have weed stores, lol

Can you Uber or Lyft?

Yes, but it's raining and I'm not walking very well since I'm in pain and my leg is basically in a cast, I'm struggling, maybe tomorrow.

@Rob1948 Congrats on not smoking! I had to use the patch but really enjoy burning joints like cigarettes at times. I get prerolls for convenience, or I just roll myself.

@CaroleKay thanks. Quit for my health. Can’t recreate here as it isn’t legal. -snort- unfortunately, not sure it would be good for my health at this point... sigh.
